Keep Newborn away from Infections
A newborn is very sensitive and can easily catch an infection if comes in contact with someone with the infection.
While taking Newborn to a public place make sure that the child doesn’t touch something which is touched by many like a bench or table.
If someone wants to hold the baby, make sure that the person washes their hand before doing that. Never let a person who is showing signs of a Flu come near the baby as he may be highly contagious.
A newborn baby has a very less immunity and can easily catch a cold if taken outside in cold weather or can get a heat stroke if taken outside in hot weather. A newborn baby has skin which again is very sensitive and can get skin rashes from the cold weather and get a burnt skin if exposed to direct sunlight.
We cannot change the weather according to our child so what we can do is to make a newborn weatherproof.
If it’s freezing outside try to avoid taking the baby out and if you have to make sure there is enough layer of woolens on baby, same way taking the baby out in a lot of heat should be avoided and the first step while taking the baby out in a hot day should be keeping the baby hydrated.
Extra Supply of Clothing and Diaper’s
While taking the newborn outside make sure that you have enough supply of diapers and extra clothing, there are chances that a baby might spill milk on its clothes while feeding and keeping the baby in wet clothes would give him rashes and the baby would be extremely uncomfortable too. If you wish not to breastfeed the baby in public you can also look for storage of breast milk so that when your baby feels hungry in private places you will not
Following these simple but effective steps would make sure that your baby’s trip to the world is safe and comfortable.
